I have woven on a triangle loom a lot. And I don't know if we are talking
about the same type of loom, but I did not have trouble with yarn tangling
but I basically worked with a loop of yarn weaving from the outside edge on
the right down to the empty tag/nail/peg and then pull this loop end over to
the right hook it on the empty side peg and just grab the end and bring it
up to the top peg on the right side and take another loop and work down
weaving on the right side .

You start at the left or right top peg first peg on the hypotenuse and work
back and forth working down and weaving the sides working toward the center.
The last one you weave is a single strand down the center to the point of
the triangle. That will lock all of the weaving. You start on left or
right depending if you are right or left handed.

-----Original Message----- You need to spread the weaving apart to keep the
center loose enough to work the yarn so you can bring the yarn down the
center. Once you do the single center strand you can work the weave with
your fingers to even it out. If you made the center too loose then you work
your fingers from the outside toward the center to even it out.

Subject: [Nfb-krafters-korner] stopping yarn from getting tangled

Hey all,
I have just started weeving on a rectangular loom. Anyways, the instructions
say to take out a lot of yarn, at least 2 yards or more. I take out what I
think would be 2 yards, but then it just gets tangled up and I have to stop
and untangle it. I'm not making progress with this at all. So heres my
question, how can I avoid taking out that much yarn, but be able to weev the
way it says to? If that's not possible, and I need that much yarn to make
the weeving work properly, how can I stop that much yarn from getting
tangled? Any help would be great!
Thanks all Daniella
