[NFB-Krafters-Korner] upcoming class,

My favorite needle to use for a cable needle is a little circular needle.  I think it is about 7 inches long.

I find this the easiest way to keep my held stitches in place while working the rest of the cable.

Cathy, that sounds like a stitch holder.  If you do not have a cable needle, you could use a double pointed needle with a point protector at each end.  Using this will slow you down, but technically does the job.
