It might be a good idea to contact the county agent at your local extension office or someone with the master Gardner’s in your area. The extension office will have their contact information. Also, if you have a local garden center, ask someone there. I wouldn’t recommend asking anyone at your big box store garden departments. They aren’t typically as knowledgeable as the others I recommended.

Just speaking from past experience......

Hi Again,

We moved into a new house with sick rosebushes in the back. They produced leaves, but some of the buds were full buds with the starts of withered blossoms. The leaves are very few, although lots of branches with thorns. Any ideas of what may be wrong with them?

Also, how can you tell if your plants have been invaded with fungi or insects? If you have an unhealthy plant, how can you tell what the real problem is? Questions from a wanabee gardener hahahaha!
