[Nfb-krafters-korner] Marking needle/hook sizes

They are clear Velcro pockets, with 3 holes for a note book.  I salvaged them, when we were cleaning up to move to our new office building.  I am attempting to put all of size x, in one and size y, in another.

Terry P has some kind of folders that fit into a notebook that she uses for her circulars. I wish I knew where to get some for myself.

The easiest way for me to keep track of needles is to place Braille labels on plastic envelopes.  I use primarily circular needles which usually come in these packages.

You can purchase needle gauges in yarn shops, etc.  They are usually metal and have a bunch of holes in it.  [I don't care for the one that has all of the holes in a row], but I liked the one that was shaped in a Hat with a pompom at top.  You insert the needle into the hole until it won't  go thru.
They do have sizes printed on each hole so you can borrow someone's eyes and mark some of the holes so you can count them easier.

The one I had also had markings on it for crochet hooks.  I purchased a bunch of them back a few years and sold them at NFB Convention.

If you are interested I could check if I have any left or maybe I will order more of them to sell at Convention this year.  Let me know what you all think.  I think I sold them for $5.

I'd be interested to hear other people's methods for marking needle or crochet hook sizes.  Sorry if this has been covered 50 times before.

I try to keep my needles or hook in the package they came in, and use my slate to braille on the package what size it is.

I have a needle/hook gauger, which I laboriously stuck small braille labels onto.  It works well for the numerous things I inherited from my mother, or things I failed to put back into a case.  But labelling the sizer was hard work.  Are there any braille ones?  Maybe the right name is needle/hook sizer.
