I agree with Terry.  If everyone waits until the end of the month to submit their points that is dumping a load at the end of the month.  The person in charge of the numbers have to enter each entry in to the Excel file.  
I think if you keep an ongoing list of your points for your own records and send them in as you complete each thing, that would be better for all.

I would ask the committee!
They need time to calculate the points and I do not think they want everything coming in at once.  Your way is a sure chance of forgetting to submit something.
I submit right after the event happens.
Check with the committee.
You do not want to be left out, by changing things.
