Meet your Board
At the 2018 NFB Convention, during the Krafters Division meeting, you put 
the following in as your officers:
Tammy, President
Jill, Vice President 1
Joyce, Vice President 2
Dixie, Secretary
Cathy, Treasurer
Jeanette, Board
Terry P remains on the Board with 1 more year in her term

This team seems excited and are working together to grow our little korner.
We have had our first meeting and have excepted a variety of task.

Tammy Official Bush Beater and the one that blesses the classes. I’m sure 
there is much more on that plate.  Lol!  I’m good at cheerleading, waving 
pom poms, refereeing and Teacher’s coach and/or helper .  Give me a shout! 
I’m not to hard to find.  If you want to offer a class let me know at

I am also offering a class for members that want to learn how to crochet. 
Cindy Z is my co-teacher.  I love the way it is working.  Team Work! 
Awesome!  Henry and others help too!  Sometimes it just takes a Village!

Jill has offered to Host the Monday night chats and be the Reporter for the 
Division.  Yep, that’s new.  She is going to write articles about our 
classes and get them to the Braille Moniter.  Now, you notice I said she is 
the hostes.  This means she needs your help!  Jill works and has a wonderful 
family so we do appreciate the time she gives us.  I know she would be very 
appreciative for all the help you can offer.  This time is dedicated to 
sharing craft information, bring in speakers to share craft info, sharing 
NFB info or even a craft along project.  The possibilities are only limited 
by our imaginations.  Give Jill a shout!

Joyce will be the go to person for the Kane Brewer Fund.  She is secretly 
mentoring me and keeping me on the right track. Oops!  Hope that wasn’t a 
secret!  Lol!  She is also offering a fun plastic canvas Reindeer class too. 
Don’t forget to sign up.

  I’m sure there is more but it escapes me.

Dixie is our Secretary.  Not only does Dixie keep up with our minutes, she 
offers a monthly knit dishcloth class on the first of each month.  She is 
the person that sends teachers your class list.  She has created an email 
list dedicated to class proposals and signups. Please put it to use!

She also keeps up with the membership.

Cathy is our Treasurer. She likes counting money but there seems to be a lul 
in that part of the job.  Hey, by the way, it isn’t to late for you to be a 
paid member.  If you go to our website and hit the paypal link, you can not 
only join an awesome family, you can take advantage of all of the classes. 
In case you haven’t looked, Christmas is peeping around the corner. 
Handcrafted items make wonderful gifts.  Cathy also offers classes.  In her 
spare time, she and her team keep our website up to date.

Jeanette Kutash is our new 2 year Board member.  She is jumping in with 
ideas and a willingness to work. She is teaming up with Terry P to get our 
name to affiliates.

Terry P. has another year on the board.  She did a great job with the 
convention and will continue working with that and teaching us how to make a 
fun snowflake. Watch for her class!

Now we need your help!!
This isn’t all the jobs on our little korner.  We need the following:
Fund raising Chair & members- This group will develop ways our korner can 
grow our Treasury.  KK offers one time scholarships to members that need a 
little assistance getting to convention.  As a Division of NFB, we make 
contributions to NFB efforts.  By increasing our pocket, we can offer more 
things, so if you have a  head for fund raising, please let me or any other 
Board member know.
Sunshine person-This person will keep a running list of members and their 
special days.  Those Happy Birthday wishes, Get Well Wishes, Happy 
Anniversary, etc will be sent to those that want to participate.  This 
person will send those wishes off list so the kraft list won’t blow up our 
mailboxes.  Lol!

Scholarship-We have a Chair for this but would like to have a few more folks 
to help make those tuff choices.  This group will advertise scholarship 
availability, accept applications and select those recipients.

Teachers and or teams-  Here is the big one!  In order to offer classes, we 
need teachers.  No teachers, no classes!  Cindy Z is putting together a 
Christmas Extravaganza.  Cool idea!  The problem is she needs people to 
share a small craft.  Please contact her ASAP!

We would like August to be all about Christmas related crafts.  You aren’t 
to late but it is getting close.  Pushing and shoving is allowed!  Grin! 
PLEASE let me know!

It doesn’t stop there!  Please put on your thinking caps and come up with a 
fun craft.  The crafts that were offered last year were fun!  We had food 
crafts, candy  crafts, Origami, bead projects, needle knitting, loom 
knitting, crochet, plastic canvas, essential oils, wreaths, placemats, 
birdfeeders, etc!  If you can think of something new to share, let us know! 
If you wouldn’t mind something similar you would like to share, we would 
enjoy it too!

I’m sure I left out something so jump in and share!
