Consumer crafts have Doress brand cutting dies and embossing folders for
reasonable prices.  I plan on getting some soon.

I have had a Sizzix Texture Boutique and Big Shot for years. I haven't used
it in quite a while; clay work, knitting, crochet, jewelry making and lots
of other things cut it out. Plus the folders and dies get expensive. Some of
it is tactile; much of it visual. I like some of it. Sighted friends love
all of it. If I went looking, I'm sure I would find something new of
interest for it.
