I like to do my safety pin beading in the summer.
When I knit, I only work with cotton in the summer.  I find wool felts in my
hand, likewise I don't spin in the summer for the same reason.

It is nice not to have a big project lying in my lap making me hotter.  On
the other hand, it is nice to have a nice warm blanket in my lap in the
winter keeping me warm as I work on it.

Hello everyone:

 

I want to apologize about not sending out a want to know Wednesday question
last week.  As you know my life has been pretty much upside down the last
couple of months.  I promise to be more punctual from now on.

 

So, here is my very late question.

 

Do you all do different types of crafts in the summer?

 

I am finding myself not very interested in knitting during the hot Arizona
summer.  Lately the only craft I've been doing is play dough!  My roommate
has a 4 year old daughter who has allowed me to make things with her.  She
told me my coloring is bad, but my clay is good. Lol

 

Do any of the rest of you craft with small children?

 

Do you have any special summer projects?

 

Please share with us; we want to hear about particular summer crafting
projects.
