[Nfb-krafters-korner] Mittens

I do not think the braille books can be read on the stream.  I will check on
the stream list.
The stream does not have a braille display and the Bard express does not
list the braille books.

Hi Tracy, yes it can, I have the Stream 2nd Generation, and it can have
Braille books downloaded onto it.
Which one do you have?

Henry, I don't think the Stream can read a braille book.  If I'm wrong, I'd
be happy to know.

Hi Henry.
You could still use your yarn for mittens, if you want.  Pssst, they're not
too hard.  NLS, BARD, has an interesting book on knitting mittens, called
something like Mittens and Gloves, in braille.  Or there are lots of free
patterns online.  I made myself a nice pair of fingerless mitts from an
online pattern.

Hi Nella and everyone, I bought yarn and size 8 circular needles for Joyces
mitten class that was unfortunately canceled.
No worries though, I cdan use the yarn and needles for a hat or scarf or
something, nothing will be wasted.
