I was not lucky to have anyone crafty in my family. It was a mirical my
mom even know the basics of knitting and tought me to knit.
We had the same Easter baskets year after year. Through out my life I
collected seramic and stuffed bunnies. I have one holding a carrot,
sitting on my end table. I try to have stuffed animals for each season
and sometimes flowers, too.
I did buy 2 beaded necklaces with round beads and beads shaped like
bunnies, and hung them over the edge of the door to my cubical, at work.

Hello to all you crafters out there.

I apologize for not sending this out yesterday; my life is really crazy
right now and I have too much going on.

Since Easter is on Sunday I thought we should have a question for the
occasion.

Can you remember a hand crafted Easter gift that you received?

What was it and who made it for you?

I remember my great aunt Ester made me an Easter basket out of a bucket.
I believe some type of food came in the bucket. She covered it with
fabric, put grass in it and lots of candy. She also put hair bows and a
few other little gifts in the bucket. It had a big bow and was pretty
pastel colors.

My Mom put the basket on my night stand, so it was the first thing I saw
when I woke up. I was so excited.

A couple of years later my Mom made me a stuffed rabbit out of pastel
fabrics. I still have that rabbit, but it does look a little raggedy. I
think it is 40 years old.

I can't wait to hear all of your stories.

Nella
