[Nfb-krafters-korner] Confusion about Size of Duct Tape in the belt Class

Thanks Jill!

Just now seeing this.

Sharon, Duct tape is generally 2 inches wide. They are wanting you to tear off a piece about 4 to 5 inches long. The length depends on the size D rings you purchased. When you fold the piece into thirds you want it to lay inside the D ring smoothly and not bunch up.

Sharon, if you have more questions, please e-mail me directly at zimac6628 at gmail and I will be able to answer you quicker.

Thanks,

Sharon, I did not take the class, but it sounds like that the 4-5 inches is referring to the length and the width would depend on the size of the D ring. Maybe Cindy will see your question and answer you for sure. I know she has had some family members to pass away, so she might be off list today.

Hi,

I’m confused about the shape of the beginning small pieces of duct tape. How wide does it come in the whole roll? The tutorial says, "Start with a small 4-5 inch-ish piece (this width depends on the size od your “D” ring, so do it accordingly.” How can that piece be 4 or 5 inches wide? Is that an incorrectly worded statement?

Thanks again for teaching that class, Cindy,
