[Nfb-krafters-korner] a question on knitting

I am in Idaho.  I should be reachable between 4:00 and 6:00 p m.  Andd maybe
in the evening.  I am scheduling volunteers for a bike-a-thon, so I am
getting lots of calls for a few days.  And tonight I got a few others as
well.  But I don't think this will take too long if we don't get distracted.
I am in mountain time if that helps.

Jamie, there are several different ways to cast on. It might be easier to
help you by phone.  If you want to phone me this evening, 208-338-1595.  I
am expecting several calls, but you might get in.  Others may be better able
to help that way, as well.

I tried that but am doing something wrong as I lose the stitch or undo what
I''ve done or something weird.  I don't know why I'm making this so hard but
really am having trouble with this.

Put a slip knot on left needle.
Go in as if you are to knit, wrap the right needle, bring it backlike you
normally do.
Now you have a loop on left needle and a loop on the right needle.
Place loop from right needle on left needle, 2 stitches on needle.
Go into top stitch like you did with the slip knot and repeat.

Hi, all, I am having trouble with the knit on cast on.  I can't seem to
figure out what you do at the last to get the stitch back on the left
needle.  Youtube videos don't help and I haven''t yet found a good braille
explanation.  Thanks for any help and breakdown of this stitch.  I can long
tail cast on, bind off, knit, and purl, and I do this contenintal style.
