Nella,
Well, good luck with those last minute chores!  Safe travels to the dessert.

I lost my Granma 33 years ago.  She was so great to talk to.  She
listened and offered wisdom with her comments.  She is the one that
helped me learn to crochet and like you, I made my 1 and only 9 patch
quilt.  That was so awesome!

I lost my Dad 19 years ago.  What is there to say, That was my Dad.
He walked on water and everything.  lol!  At least in my mind he did.
We had all kinds of fishing adventures.  Boy!  Could I tell some fish
Tales!  lol!

I lost my husband 3 years ago.  Yep, he walked on water too!  He was
the most awesome man I ever met!  He was right up there with my Dad.
Smile!  We were only married for 2 years.  Losing these kind of people
leaves such an empty hole in your heart.  Sure glad I have a lot of
wonderful memories tucked away.  Treasure those you're closest too.
