I’ve heard of some people using Kool-Ade to dye yarn. Check out the Crafty Gemini on YouTube. I think it was in one of her videos last month.

Subject: [NFB-Krafters-Korner] Yarn dyes

Hi everyone,
I’ve been curious for a while about dying my own yarn or fiber. And while wandering the Internet yesterday I came across a technique for using Easter egg dye to dye natural fiber yarns. I am wondering if anyone else has attempted this technique, whether it worked, and whether you have any tips. Seems like a cool experiment and since Easter egg dye is relatively inexpensive right now, one that I could try without too much expense.

D
