I think the magic loop in crochet is a whole different animal than in
knitting.  Isn't magic loop in crochet a way to start a circle, then pull
the string and close up the hole in the middle?
In knitting, it's a way to work circular rows that are shorter than the
circular needle you're working with.
Still interested, Henry?  I thought you and Terry only do loom knitting?

I would also like to learn the Magic Loop with 2 circular needles. Tammy
thaught us the Magic Loop in Crochet, and I am guessing that it is the same

I'm always up for learning new techniques. I always want to know the
advantage of using a specific technique though before learning a technique.
For example, I like the edge made when casting on the way Dixie taught us in
the last cloth.
