Tracy I put a belt loop on my cane holders. I crochet mine in the round.

Subject: [NFB-Krafters-Korner] Cane holder

I finally knitted the cane holder I've been pondering for a while. I'm
calling it a cane sock, because it looks a lot like a tube sock. I didn't
create it with a toe, though. I made it more like a really skinny hat, with
basically a flat bottom and long sides. I put a double spiral of purl
stitches up around the body. I had imagined it would be candy-cane-like.
It's not, but it's nice. I doubled the top over, so it's sturdy and doesn't
roll. I put 2 strands of i-cord to serve as belt loops.

I made it of navy blue cotton. I used Dishie, from Knitpicks, which is a
sturdy worsted that washes well.

I believe Terry P also made a cane holder. I'd be interested to hear the
details, and from anyone else who may have made one.

Tracy
