[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Lace class

I felt the same way about crochet!
My first teacher tried to teach me, using the dipping and twists and turns of the hook.  I just could not do it!
I took the class tought by 2 others, in the group and now I can crochet a flat piece, with chuncky yarn!
I now do everything with my fingers.  My first teacher tried to teach us that this was wrong.
I and many here at KK, follow the rule, what ever methed is best for you is fine.  There is almost always more than one way to do something.  Also, one person can explain something one way and it will not click, where if another person, steps up and says it another way, bingo, it clicks!
When I came to KK, I only new the knit stitch.  Joyce and Dixie have tought me more than you can imagine.  I could only knit flat.  Joyce tought me a simple hat and tought me to knit in the round.  With Tonya Wheatly's help, I even ventured to knitting on the loom!
Shure wish she would come back!
We have all been in your shoes, at some time!

I took the beginning knitting class with you guys over the phone in the past but still had no luck. My hands just don’t wanna work right in my stitches don’t want to stay on the needle. I’m willing to give it a try again but I don’t have much hope. I would love to add it to my skill set. A lot of knitting classes are offered here and I feel like I’m missing out on some of the cool projects.
