I have periodically had difficulty getting in on a land-line but often find
I can get in on a cellphone. I do know that some carriers do not allow chat
call numbers to go through. There is a way to download the free conference
call app both on an iPhone and on a computer, and it is possible to call in
from there. If you call free conference calls they can tell you more about
this. 

 

I do know the problem of not getting through does not always happen, but
when it does I can appreciate that it is frustrating and I am sorry you
experienced it.
