And everything is in one place, neatly lined up.  Finding the size I want
only takes a little counting needles.
Maybe your stash of tools is neater than mine, but my ordinary circular
needles are all in a bin in no particular order, so finding a particular
size requires a lot of pawing through and occasional use of my sizing guide.

Hello, Karyn,
With interchangeable kneedles, you can change needle sizes just by 
changing the tips of the needles and leaving the stitches in the middle 
of the cord. You can knit with one needle tip of one size and one of 
another. If you are out, you can carry a little case of needle tips 
rather than a larger one of circulars.
