Hi Becky, just to add to what Terry said, I keep my yarn either on the sofa
next to me on my right hand side.
Or, I will put it in a bag at my feet, again on my right hand side, or in a
zippered yarn caddy that has a hole in the top for the yarn to come out of.
I also bring the yarn up and over the top of the loom, I have tried to bring
the yarn up through the center, but, that didn't work too well.
I hope that Terry and/or I didn't confuse you more.
If you have any more questions or need anymore help, just shoot us a line.
(That is to Terry and me, big warm and Friendly smile.)
Just a note to other loomers whether new or old timers, Terry and I are here
ready, willing and able to help you too!
Just shoot us a line either privately, or, through the list.
Happy Looming, and A Very Happy, Healthy and Safe New Year to all!
Terry and Henry

Hi Becky;
I always loom with my yarn, outside my loom, on the right!
I am also right handed.
This gives you room to unwind the yarn, with out it tangling on the pegs,
near where you are working.
I have had very little experience working with 2 strands of yarn. I would
put them in a bag or trash can and when you knit, have the 2 strands flow
through your fingers, to prevent twisting.
Are you actually knitting, double stranded or making something, with 2
colors of yarn?
If knitting double stranded, you could even wind the 2 balls, into one ball.

Terry

It has been a while since I loomed. The loomed piece I was doing was torn
out, to tight, to twisted. My question for you seasoned loomers, where
should my two balls of yarn be, i.e., on the floor, on my right, since I am
right-handed, on my left on the floor. Should the two balls of yarn be in
one large plastic lined box or two to try and prevent twisting of the yarn.
Since the loom is an oval, should the yarn come up from the middle, or
above; left side, right side.

I am looking for technique to place the yarn balls.
