[NFB-Krafters-Korner] financial aid to National NFB convention available

Hello to all active Krafters Korner members,

 

The National Fed of the Blind Krafters Division has a scholarship fund each
year to financially aid our members to attend the National Fed of the Blind
convention every July.

This year, for the first time, the scholarship committee is requiring an
application for financial aid to be completed in order to be considered for
financial assistance. We do not ask for any of your personal financial
information in the form.

below you will find the "rules" and application. Submission of the
Applications will begin to be accepted on March first and will end on April
thirtieth. Send completed forms to

Rules:

 

*         An applicant must be a current paid member of Krafter's Korner
prior to January 1, 2020.

*         An applicant must be an active member of Krafter's Korner.

*         An applicant is expected to attend the July 2020 annual meeting of
Krafter's Korner at Convention.

*         An applicant is expected to help out at the Krafter's Korner Craft
Table at the 2020 convention.

*         Applications for the 2020 Krafter's Korner Convention scholarship
will be accepted from March 1, 2020 through April 30, 2020.

*         The scholarship winners will be notified on May 15, 2020. Winners
of scholarships must be in attendance at the annual Krafter's Korner meeting
at the July 2020 convention in order to receive his or her scholarship.

 

An applicant must submit the following application:

*         1. What is your Name?

*         2. What is your Email address?

*         3. What are your phone numbers? cell: home:

*         4. How long have you been a member of Krafter's Korner?

*         5.  Have you received a scholarship from Krafter's Korner in the
past? (please note: winners of the 2019 Convention Scholarship are not
eligible for the 2020 Convention scholarship.

*         6. What classes have you attended here at Krafter's Korner between
the dates of July 1, 2019 and April 30, 2020?

*         7.  What Monday night Chats have you attended between the dates of
July 1, 2019 and April 30, 2020? What was the subject of the Chat?

*         8.  Have you taught a class here at Krafter's Korner?  If so, what
was the class?

*         9.  Have you answered any of the "Want to Know Wednesday"
questions between the dates of July 1, 2019 and April 30, 2020??  What was
the topic?

*          

*         10. Submit a short essay, 2 or 3 paragraphs, describing what
benefits you've received or skills you've learned from your time at
Krafter's Korner.  

*         By submitting this essay, you are giving us your permission to
post your essay response on the Krafter's Korner blog at

All 2020 scholarship applications are to be emailed to
