[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Straight vs circular

Hi Ari, the Denise Interchangeable needles are plastic tips. they come with some different sizes of cables, and some other accessories.
I find knitting on them to be not so hard, the plastic has some friction that keeps the stitches from sliding off.
I have used metal, wooden and bamboo needles in the past.
As for yarns, I again have used all kinds of yarns from Sport weight all the way up to Chunky.
For dish cloths and wash cloths I like cotton yarns and for heavier weight items like hats and scarves I mainly use the chunky yarns.
If you have any more questions, feel free to ask me or other knitters here on the list.
Happy Future Knitting!

Hello, Henry,

I've been eyeing the Denise interchangeables. What's it like knitting on them? What needle materials have you used before them? What types of yarn do you typically use?

Thanks,
Ari

I have some Clover bamboo size 10s and some Loops and Threads aluminum size 11s, and the Clover's are always catching on the sleeves of my robe. It's been cold here, so I'm always wearing my robe. :) I kind of dread using my aluminum needles because they're even longer than my bamboo ones.
