[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Woe is me

Hi Terry and all,

I have thought about a lifeline, but unlike with a cardigan, a raglan is knit in the round. I do not know of a way to create a lifeline for this kind of project. It would seem to me that if a needle were used it would really get n the way. Lifelines are good for items knitted flat, that is for sure.

Oh Tracy, I meant to let you know that I appreciated your offer to help me learn to pick up a dropped stitch. However, I already know how to do this. Dixie taught a class called the drop stitch dishcloth where she taught how to pick up stitches for both garter and stockinette patterns. The problem I was having was that the yarn was so thin that I could not feel it well enough to grasp the loop. I kept losing it and further down it would go.
Just today I dropped a stitch, but was able to catch it quickly because I had checked the row I had just completed before continuing with the next round. I guess I need to count my stitches between my markers on every row. <sighh>

May God bless you.
 Cathy F
