> We will knit, stuff and assemble a 12 in. solid color teddy bear. knitting is very simple. Sewing is all with yarn, so no fine work at all.
> Skills needed:
> knit stockinette and garter stitches. We will also do some double stitches, but not necessary to have done this before.  hand sewing with same yarn as used for knitting.
> Supply list:
> ·         one skein four-ply worsted weight acrylic yarn at least four ounces. 
> small bag fiberfill
> two buttons for eyes, about three-quarter inch, with shank or flat, brown or black
> ·         knitting needle size 5, 6, or 7. I use circular, but straight will work. 
> metal yarn needle for sewing pieces together
> ·         scissors
> ·         tape measure
> ·         one-inch or larger safety pins
