> Our film this week may be slightly off-peak for the world renown director, but by any other standard, it's a sophisticated, chillingly sinister thriller -- and one that boasts an unforgettable performance from the female lead. The film has a romping plot, a gloriously slimy villain and – thanks to the fact that the action is mostly constrained to one room – some of the weirdest, trickiest camera work of the director's career. It remains the best movie ever photographed in 3-D, although the film seems less than ideal for the 3-D process, given its tight interiors and extended dialogue scenes.
