Get yourself a pack or two of size 16, 18 and 20, metal tapestry needles. I find metal more durable than the plastic.
This will give you different sizes for different thicknesses of yarn.
If you squeeze the tip of the yarn, you should be able to thread it into any of these sized needles, with out using a threader.
I slide my tail through the bumps, on the back of my work. Make sure you do not pull to tight. You do not want your work to buckle up on you.

Subject: [NFB-Krafters-Korner] Weaving in in Ann’s of chenille yarn

What kind of needle do I need to weave and chunkier have your yarn when you finish a project? Where can I find it? I still haven’t washed my scarf because I want to weave the chenille ends in to make it look nice and more safe so it doesn’t come apart. Then I can wash this sucker and pack it away for next year. I think half of our stuff is in one house and half of our stuff is in another house right now.

Thanks for the help!

Ericka Nelson
