Tracy;
Where did your board come from?
I do not have a set.

Subject: [NFB-Krafters-Korner] Blocking to measure

I don't usually block to measure. I block for shape, or to bring out a lace
pattern. But now I'm making blanket squares, and it's important they all
come out the same size so I can sew them together neatly. So, I measured an
8x8 square on my blocking pad and stuck a blocking pin at each corner of the
square. I'm leaving the pins in the pad for the duration of the project. I
lay the damp square inside the square and pin each corner so it touches my
marker pins, then pin the rest of the edges so they feel straight.

It seems to be working OK. I just wondered what methods other people use to
block to measurements.

Tracy
