[NFB-Krafters-Korner] loom knitting question

You can make a turned brim. Knit your fabric twice the width you want your brim. Pick up the loops from your cast on row and place them back on the pegs. Knit the bottom loop over the top loop & you now have a brim. For example, if you wanted a 1 inch brim, you would need to knit 2 inches of fabric before placing the cast on row back on the pegs.

I hope this helps.

Subject: [NFB-Krafters-Korner] loom knitting question

Good morning,

I am making stocking hats for my grandsons and my son-in-law. Here is the
problem. The yarn I found in my basement makes extremely soft hats is so
soft and fuzzy that it makes the hat too small using the usual peg counts. I
made one that was 42 pegs and it is too small for my son-in-law, because the
rolled part is so thick. My question is, is there another way to have a
finished edge other than rolling the rim?
