[NFB-Krafters-Korner] Comparison between Lion Brand Pound of Love and Caron Simply Soft

Dotty, these are two of my favorite yarns, and your comparison is interesting. Six years is not a bad length of time to wear a sweater. I think you mean 20 and 18 stitches will be 4 inches of finished knitting. The other significant difference I find is that the pound of love tends to stretch over time more than the simply soft, although drying in a fairly hot dryer helps immensely. I just happen to have on a sweater made with pound of love yarn which is almost like new. and wore one yesterday made from simply soft which is newer and beginning to show some wear. I probably the simply soft more, because it is plain blue and goes with almost everything I wear.
