I'm always fascinated with Shelly's quotes.
In graduate school, I had to take a class in art in the classroom. The
class, one session, was working a color collage, and the teacher had me work
on a texture one. He brought in a big box of junk for me to work with. At
one point, I said, "I need a tree". The teacher ran outside, broke off a few
twigs from a bush, and brought them back to me. I loved it and his openness.
We had to cut the letters in our names out free hand. I was so surprised
that mine looked wonderful. I didn't care much for the adlib play acting
though.

Just want to remind everyone to head over to the website and sign up for all
the upcoming classes. Joyce and I have some beading classes, Tammy and I
have our ornament of the month class, I have a knitted shawl class. Some of
the other ongoing classes are the hand sewing class, the cooking class, the
granny square class and the caring and sharing class.  And of course if you
haven't signed up for any of the beginner classes for knitting, crocheting,,
looming it's not too late. Looks like there is a little something for
everyone in the new year and I can't wait to get back crafting again with
all of you.
