Hi my fellow knitters, I have a Double Knitting Fabric question for you.
I seem to recall doing a pattern that resulted in a Double Knit looking
fabric.
Here is the pattern as best as I can recall.
Cast on X number of stitches
I knitted a Foundation row
I slipped the first stitch on the left hand needle then knitted the second
stitch, slipped the third stitch, knitted the fourth stitch and continued
until I got to the last stitch which I knitted.
On the next row, I slipped the first stitchknitted as in the above row so
that the knit stitches were all slipped, and the slipped stitches were all
knitted.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?
I am going to go and play around with it for a while, and will let you all
know how it turns out.
