I wonder too what is the purpose of binding off with 2 pieces held together.
I've been having good success using what I've heard called the Russian bind-off. I go up one needle size, then the bind-off is to knit 2 together, move the stitch just created back to the left needle, and repeat. It's easy and it creates a pretty stretchy bind-off. It's so depressing to get a whole sweater done, then find I've bound it off too tightly. I did it once, and learned my lesson. I had to take it out and re-do it, which was a pain.

I am wondering about this cardigan.
It seems somewhat doable, but how do you bind off with two yarns held together?
As far as I know, you haven’t been holding two pieces.
What is the purpose of this?
Thanks.
