FebruaryCharity Donations

I love all the participation. This month there was 106 hand crafted items
and 35 miscellaneous items donated and 81 volunteer hours recorded. Also
there was a $240 monetary donation. If you're wondering what some of the
items received this month were as follows crafted items it was hats,
scarves, mittens, pocket pet pouches, beaded necklaces, beaded bracelets,
beaded Christmas ornaments, pot holders and place mats. The miscellaneous
items were food items, beads for craft projects, books, and frozen dinners.
The volunteer hours were website work, class preparation, and teaching,
and sitting on boards of various groups the monetary donations were given to
the NFB pack plan.

All these items and peoples time was donated to 13 organizations. They were
crafters corner, NFB Maryland chapter, NFB pack plan, Louis Braille Birthday
party, Operation Christmas Child, Cards for Kindness, First Baptist church
in Lincoln, Lion's Club in Lincoln, Brooklyn crochet group, First Baptist
Church Sunday school, NFB New Jersey chapter, Vanderbilt Hospital and
Global cane outreach.
