Hi Terri S;

Welcome to the group!
This is the third Terry!
I am the odd ball because I started spelling my name with a Y. I guess that makes it easier to tell us apart!
I love knitting, loom knitting, plastic canvas and making items with large hole beads.
As Terri N said, Henry Terri and I are all 3 in the same NFB chapter.
I make items for sale and for charity.
This group has a Caring and Sharing group that you can sign up for.
Shelly can tell you more, but we focus on a charity each month.
We will be having a holiday party on December 10, over the phone!
I bet you never went to a holiday, over the phone. It is just as fun as in person.
Tammy will be putting a note out our Friday chat, so come any time Friday evening and get to know us!

Terry Powers

Hi terri. Welcome to crafters corner. Your name and my name are both spelled with an eye. This is the other Terri, Terri Nettles. I think he will enjoy being on this group. We have a lot of fun and learn a lot of different things. I like knitting because everything is based off of two stitches, nits and pearls. Crocheting has a lot more stitches. I love to need on it. That would be my number one favorite of the fiber arts. I am also learning some quilting and enjoy that as well. Enjoy being on this group and again welcome. My guide dog is Neville. I live about 11 miles from Terri Powers and Henry. we are in the same NFB chapter. We all live in Maryland.

Hello Shelley, and list.

Thank you for the welcome. I appreciate it.

Also, I thought what you said about potato chips and crafting was funny.

I am most definitely going to join the class. Before I do though, I just want to make sure the time will work for me, with my crazy schedule.

I am just curious, what do you enjoy about knitting?

And, how do you find it different from crocheting?

I definitely want to learn other crafts as well. I am beginning to think that it is much more possible than I used to think. I feel I sort of had this mindset that if I had no vision, that a lot of things like knitting, crocheting, and scrapbooking wasn't really all that possible. But now I am realizing that I just didn't have the right help, support, and even tools. I am definitely excited to get involved in more, and see what I might be able to do.

By the way, what is pony bead?

Just the name alone sounds interesting. LOL!

Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from you again.
