[NFB-Krafters-Korner] My intro, and, wanting to learn to crochet

So glad to hear that you are realizing that crafting is for you with her without Sight. I’m from Wisconsin by the way. Nobody in my family either side really did any crafty yarn stuff. I did things in school, but never really learned until I was an adult.
I understand about trying to find a place in your schedule. I’m not in school and I’m still trying to figure out what fits. No it doesn’t. Unfortunately there’s always something else that gets in the way. A lot of times. Practice makes perfect. Practice practice practice. The good thing about crocheting and knitting. Is that if you have a long commute somewhere you can do with that to keep yourself busy.

I feel I sort of had this mindset that if I had no vision, that a lot of things like knitting, crocheting, and scrapbooking wasn't really all that possible. But now I am realizing that I just didn't have the right help, support, and even tools. I am definitely excited to get involved in more, and see what I might be able to do.
