November Donations

I love all the participation. This month there was 332 hand crafted items
and 626 miscellaneous items donated and 86 volunteer hours recorded. Also
there was $25 given in monetary funds. If you're wondering what some of the
items received this month were as follows crafted items it was mittens,
hats, scarves, blankets, squares, book marks, hair pieces, stick puppets,
coloring books, fishing games, and various kits like sewing and beading. The
miscellaneous items were homemade muffins and cookies along with other food
items, toys, and storybooks, food for a church Thanksgiving dinner, school
supplies and items for sewing kits. The volunteer hours were   website work,
class preparation, teaching and sitting on boards of various groups. The
monetary donation went to a shelter for cats. 

All these items and peoples time was donated to 24 organizations. They were
Crafters Corner, Irondequoit United Church of Christ, Atlas, First Baptist
Church, Voices of Hope, Operation Christmas Child, a cancer hospital, red
scarf project, Strive, Global cane outreach, Blankets for Canada, Leisure
World Lions Club, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints Sunday school,
Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints food pantry, Covenants committee
Leisure World, Activities Committee for Leisure World, ACB local chapter
Maryland, NFB local chapter Maryland, Capital Area Guide Dog Users, The
interfaith chapel, Never alone food pantry in NJ, NFB New Jersey chapter,
Cattery animal shelter, and Echo.
