Welcome Adrijana,

I'm glad to see a Lion from another country. The NFB Lions group is a loose
and informal group. We get together once a year at the national convention
of the National Federation of the Blind.

The next national convention will be held from July 3-8 in Dallas, Texas.

Membership to the Lions or the National Federation of the Blind is not a
requirement to participate on this list.

We have two Lions members who are members of the National Federation of the
Blind that co-chair this group . Ramona Walhoff is one of the Chairs and I'm
the other.

As a Lion member, Lions International publishes the Lion Magazine and it is
available on cassette by contacting Books Aloud, Inc. their contact info is

Hi all,

I am a new member to this list, so I decided to write and introduce
myself here. My name is Adrijana and I am a blind lady of 30 and an
English teacher working in a school for blind children in Macedonia.
Unfortunatelly, we do not have an NFB branch in my country, but I
recently became a member of one of our local Lions clubs called
Denarius and was thrilled when I also found out there is an NFB lions
club list. I am always happy to share information and learn from other
members, as well as make some new friends on the way too. If you wish
to write to me privately or on the list, feel free to do so.
