[Nfb-lions] new here

What's the web site?

The thing that I'm most concerned about is that their view of what blind
people need and what I have experienced that blind people really need
might be two very different things.

I like the youth development and community involvement types of things. I
think that's great! I also appreciate that they help out with purchasing
glasses and medical types of things, but what about the blind people that
won't benefit from those sorts of things? Does the Lions do any work in
that area? I mean things like jobs, access to community resources,
transportation and the like?

Thanks!
Julie
