[Nfb-lions] Hello

Just a question, Ramona you can verify this.
Lions International, aren't they suppose to help those that cannot make it to the meetings, especially if the person is blind.
Also isn't there a scholarship or something that she can apply for through lions, if someone cannot afford to pay dues etc.
I thought there was something in place for this.
And if the Lions aren't helping in her area for shame on them.
I think National (meaning Lions) should hear about this. NOT RIGHT AND NOT FAIR.
I hope we can grow this club and become a division within the NFB or at least do some kind of outreach etc.  We need to get out there and speak to our Lions and tell them to remember blind people are not the same blind people that Helen Keller knighted over 100 years ago, but at the same time, there are people who want to be Lions but just cannot afford it.
