Lion Al,
My name is Lion Tammy. Unfortunately, I will not be able to attend
the convention this year. I do like the idea you mentioned. I have
just recently joined a new Lions Club. The members are nice folks but
they seem to see me and my husband as someone that needs to be waited
on. There is already a person in the club that does present that
image, therefore they assume the same for us. I would love to have
something to present to them to show that blindness doesn't mean
helplessness.

I have one friend that left Lions because of their attitude towards
blindness. Can't say I really blame him. I like the work that Lions
does and do not want to leave them. Would there be any way of sharing
your information?
Thanks so much for tackling the project.
Yours in Lions!
