[NFB-Muslims] Important Updates Regarding the NFB Muslims Group Arabic Qur'an Braille Classes

Asalamu alaykum everyone,

As the NFB Muslims Group Chair, I, on the behalf of the NFB Muslims
group members, am writing to notify everyone involved that The NFB
Muslims Group is peacefully ending the partnership with  International
Union of Braille  Quran Services  (IBQS). It’s unfortunate but it is
in the best interest of our members.
We, however, appreciate the valuable services that IBQS provides to
blind Muslims in general and their efforts and contributions made by
them by providing many of our members with Arabic Qur’ans and other
material. But, the NFB Muslims Group will not be using the curriculum
shared by IBQS. If you are a member of The NFB Muslims Group, you are
welcome to participate in classes sponsored by IBQS and benefit from
their services and resources (such as materials, instructors, and
other program related resources), however, please note that the NFB
Muslims Group is in no way involved in, nor responsible for the
classes or any services that IBQS is offering.
With that being said, we are not canceling our Arabic Qur’an Braille
program, but revisiting the development of the Arabic Qur’anic Braille
Program we began prior to this partnership. We will be postponing
classes under the NFB Muslims Group until we are prepared and ready to
resume with classes. We will be utilizing qualified instructors from
our member base who are excited to be involved. It will take us some
time, so we would ask that you please be patient as we get the Arabic
Qur’an Braille program ready. If you have any questions or concerns,
