The National Association to Promote the Use of Braille (NAPUB), is 
pleased to announce its first Telephone conference 
presentation/discussion  on issues surrounding braille in the United 
States.  On Thursday, November 9, 2017, NAPUB will be pleased to have 
Curtis Chong  share his experiences with the Orbit Reader 20--The 
Orbit Reader 20 is a twenty-cell, eight-dot refreshable Braille display.

Curtis Chong is the retired president of the NFB in Computer Science, 
having given up that title in the summer of 2016. He now serves as 
the organization's treasurer. In addition he serves as the treasurer 
for the NFB of New Mexico, since January of 2014. For pay, Curtis 
works as the manager of assistive technology at the New Mexico 
Commission for the Blind, where he continues to push for nonvisual 
access in education, recreation, and employment.

In the  October issue of the Braille Monitor, Curtis has an article 
describing the Orbit Reader 20. If you are not sure what the Orbit 
Reader 20 is, you may wish to read his article in the October Braille 
Monitor before the call.
