Dear List Members;
 
The below research participant solicitation is being provided for
informational purposes only. The National Federation of the Blind has no
involvement in this research, but we believe that it may contribute to our
research mission.
 
My name is Sandra Bullins and I am a Doctoral candidate at the University of
Arkansas-Fayetteville and I am also blind. I am conducting a research study
to investigate the relationship between spirituality and coping responses in
individuals who have a visual impairment. I am asking permission to recruit
participants from your organization for the study. If you could please
forward this email to your current members, this would help me out a great
deal.and I would greatly appreciate it!
All guidelines and standards for conducting this research have been approved
by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) at the University of
Arkansas-Fayetteville. The ethical standards set forth by the American
Counseling Association (ACA) and the ethical standards of the Counsel on
Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC) will be adhered to.
All data collected will remain confidential to the extent allowed by law and
University policy. No personal identifiable information will be collected
and participants will remain anonymous. I have provided a secured link to
the survey below and the IRB approval number.  I thank you for your time and
