Nancy Burns

 

              Creating Options is a support group for individuals
experiencing vision loss.  In addition to the concern sharing segment of the
group, a guest speaker will be present to explain how she taught school and
is now a busy, happy, retired person who happens to be blind.  Caroline
Benavidez is a thoughtful and interesting woman who will share the way in
which she met the challenges of her busy life.  

Family, friends, and questions are always welcome.  Join us over a cup of
coffee on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 from 10: to noon.  The group
facilitators, Nancy and Don Burns have both worked in the field of
rehabilitation.  

The group will meet in the Skills Center kitchen of the New Mexico
Commission for the Blind.  Parking is available on the south side of the
building.  You can enter the building at the Skills Center entrance located
northeast area of the parking lot.
