This is the text of the obituary for Elvira "Vier" Chavez, and below it is

Elvira (Vera) G. Chavez 

 

Elvira (Vera) G. Chavez passed away peacefully on March 20, 2018 in
Albuquerque, NM, at the age of 99. Vera is survived by sisters, Maggie G.
Chavez and

Molly Kelley of Albuquerque. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry
Chavez; father, Serafin Sr.; mother, Celestina Sanchez Griego; brothers and

sisters, Nick, Flora, Gilbert, Virginia, Efren, Serafin Jr., Irene and Alex.


 

The funeral Mass will be Monday, March 26, at Holy Ghost Church, 901 Arizona
SE, 87108; viewing at 9 am, Rosary at 9:30 am and Mass at 10 am. Following,

interment will be at Mount Calvary Cemetery, 1900 Edith NE, 87102. Rev.
Hyginus Anuta, Deacon Ricardo Chavez and Rev. Tom Mayeffke will officiate
the Mass.

All are welcome to attend and celebrate Vera's life.
