Pre ETS Assistant

 

NMSBVI is seeking a Pre Employment Transition Services(Pre-ETS) Assistant to
coordinate and provide statewide Pre-ETS resources to give students who are
blind/ visually impaired, their families, vocational rehabilitation
counselors, school transition personnel, and other persons supporting
students with disabilities greater access to career and technical education
information, help them explore career interests, improve employability
skills, and support readiness for post-secondary education/training pursuant
to Governmental Services Agreement 19-606-0000-0002 with the New Mexico
Commission for the Blind. This position will require flexible scheduling and
travel. This is a 9 month ½ time position for the 2019-2020 school year,
position dependent on availability of grant funding. Valid New Mexico
Educational Assistant license (Level III) with NM PED.  Five years
experience required. Required to become proficient in Braille, Level II.
