SAFETY AND FUN ALL AROUND THE HOME

 

Safety issues are a concern for anyone.  This issue should not detract from
enjoying projects around kitchen and home.  For those of us who are blind or
visually impaired there are tips in addressing these universal issues.  With
care and some helpful hints such problems can be minimized. Adaptive
techniques as well as tips will be discussed.    

Join Creating Options on Wednesday, July 17, from 10:00 a.m. to 12 noon as
visually impaired individuals share important tips on maintaining safety in
your home, office, or building.  Friends and family are always welcome.
Facilitator Nancy will discuss cooking on the traditional stove  and  Don
will talk about cooking on an outside bar-b-q.

New Mexico Commission for the Blind

Albuquerque, New Mexico

The group will meet in the Skills Center Kitchen.  Parking is available on
south side of building.  You can enter the building at the Skills Center
Entrance located in northeast area of parking lot.
