Gary and I are pleased to announce that Victory from the Shadows, Growing Up
in a New Mexico School for the Blind and Beyond, has won First Place, Adult
Non-Fiction Book, Biography, in the National Federation of Press Women's
Professional Communications Contest of 2020! This is our fourth award and
the first at the national level.
 
NFPW is an organization of men and women professionals in a number of
communications fields - broadcasters, newscasters, orators, authors,
journalists and reporters, advertisers, videographers, and others. In order
to compete at the national level, one had to win at the state level. We are
blessed to be in this position.
 
If you can think of any way this book can help the local chapters or
national, please tell us what we can do.
