Secondary Independent Living Skills Instructor
The New Mexico School for the Blind and Visually Impaired is currently recruiting for an Independent Living Skills Instructor. Duties include the ability to provide independent living skills instruction to secondary students with visual impairments. Bachelor’s degree or higher is required in one of the following: Visual Impairments, Family and Consumer Science or Health Education. Certification in vision is preferred but can be acquired after hire. Must possess or be eligible for NM Public Education Department licensure. Will be required to become Braille proficient. Full‑time, 9-month contract for the 20-21 school year. Applications accepted until filled.
