The purpose of this email is to make sure that the members of the blind
community are aware of the resources that are available during the
Coronavirus emergency. Our greatest strength during this time is the
strength of our own community. Please feel free to share the below
information.:
 
*The New Mexico Aging & Long-Term Services Department is asking anyone who
is a senior or an adult with a disability who cannot access groceries to
please call 1-800-432-2080. Leave a message with name, telephone number, and
the city/town they reside in. They will be in contact with the person within
2 hours or sooner. 
 
*The New Mexico Department of Health (NMDOH) is currently staffing a
Coronavirus Health Information Hotline at 1-855-600-3453. For more
information, you can visit the DOH website at https://cv.nmhealth.org/
 
*For non-medical issues such as questions about the impact of school
closures and job issues a new Coronavirus Information Hotline has been set
up at 1-833-551-0518. For more information you can visit
https://www.newmexico.gov/
